Weekly Men’s Discussion (WMD)
Men of LeClaire, we challenge you to get involved to make a
difference in your life and to bring other men to Christ.
Several months ago many of you attended meetings to help
guide topics for weekly men’s discussions. On Saturday December 9, the final
plan for these discussions was presented. For those who were not able to attend
this meeting a recap of the meeting is listed below with an outline of topics
attached. Please come join us to make a difference in your life and build a
foundation to help bring more men to Christ.
The first Weekly Men’s Discussion (WMD) will be on Wednesday
January 13 at LeClaire Christian Church immediately following the fellowship
meal.
Weekly Men’s Discussions (WMD’s)are topics based on LeClaire
Men’s feedback.
The intent of the WMD’s are to be building blocks to
strengthen your knowledge, strengthen your faith, and make a difference in your
life. The topics will be focused on the attendee’s having something to take
away from each discussion.
The WMD’s format will be to have a topic that the WMD leader
will introduce. For each topic there will be links to specific bible verses.
How long we spend on any particular topic will be determined by topic not by
schedule. If attendees want to spend several discussions on one topic we are
flexible to do that. If no additional discussion is needed then we will move on
to the next subject.
Each WMD will last approximately 1 hour. So, we will break
up at approximately 7:45.
Attached are the first 5 topics for the WMD’s. We are in the
preliminary stages of planning a group event at the completion of these topics.
