Jerry Kizzire, Senior Minister jerry@leclairecc.com Jerry and his wife, Natalie and will be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary in 2008. They have three children: Koby, Kameron, and Katie. The kids are mostly grown. They have been serving in ministry since 1983. They have had a variety of experiences and have served churches in Nebraska, Montana, Iowa, and Florida... and Illinois. They also served as missionaries in Harare Zimbabwe Africa in 1996-1997, helping out Zimbabwe Christian College and planting churches. Jerry studied at Platte Valley Bible College and at Cinncinnati Christian University receiving his Masters in Ministry in 1992. His life goal and passion is to help as many as possible to know and follow Jesus. He enjoys middle distance running...all sports... and watching the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Matt Campbell, Worship/Student Minister matt@leclairecc.com Matt has served as the Worship/Student Minister at Leclaire since June 2004. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Preaching from St. Louis Christian College and in the spring 2008, Matt will earn a Master of Arts degree in Preaching from Lincoln Christian Seminary. Before graduation and accepting the call to Leclaire Matt served as interim preaching minister (6 months) at Sparta Christian Church in Sparta, IL and Senior Minister (2 ˝ years) at Modesto Christian Church in Modesto, IL.
Along with leading the Student and Worship Ministries, Matt oversees the Young Adult Ministry and was instrumental in the launching of Leclaire’s Sunday night service called "The Ocho."
Matt is married to Nicole and they have one dog, Boomer, who loves trouble. Matt loves the Oklahoma Sooner’s, St. Louis Cardinals, doing jobs around the house, taking care of the yard, being outdoors and, more than all of these, he loves his wife.
His favorite verse of Scripture is Matthew 25:34, "Then the King said to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.’"
Mary Lou Whiteford, Children's Minister
marylou@leclairecc.com Mary Lou has been the Children's Minister since May 2003. Before moving to Edwardsville, she served as the director of an inner city mission center in Roanoke, VA for 12 years, where Mary Lou worked with both children and adults in the immediate community and with area churches for support. She has a Master's Degree in Christian Social Work and a Bachler's Degree in Home Economics Education with a minor in Early Childhood. Mary Lou also has short term missions experience in Arizona and Mexico, loves being with children, and enjoys traveling.
